Gravelbiketour Kultur, Natur, Retoure - Staatsbad Bad Brückenau - Rhön

This round trip to the mountains of the southern Rhön starts from the Bad Brückenau state spa and the spa flair there. Shortly after the start of the tour, you circle the two peaks of the Pilsterköpfe at Bad Brückenau before continuing on to a longer stretch of open land.

The Mettermich and the Schildeckersberg accompany us on the next section of the tour to the Erlenberg and into the Black Mountains. In the forest area there you can reach some peaks that are known for their huts and great views - these include the Totnansberg and the Feuerberg.

Shortly after circling the Lösershag you drive down into the Sinntal and into the town of Oberbach. You can fortify yourself in the Haus der Schwarzen Berge there before continuing past Riedenberg towards the Volkersberg. If you don't just want to walk around this peak and stop off at the monastery and its restaurant, you have to take a short detour from the tour.

The remaining part of the tour leads through a rustic forest back to the Bad Brückenau state spa.
